About
In 1985, Evelyn Rosenberg develop a new technology, “Detonography,” to create artwork using explosives. This technique of exploding various metals into molds has been used by Rosenberg for a number of major commissions across the US including Nebraska State House, The Museum of Natural History in Albuquerque, New Mexico and her current installation at the National Western Stock Show Complex.
Rosenberg attended the London School of Printing, the Columbia University of Fine Arts and Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She received a B.A. from the University of Maryland, an A.A.S. degree in Commercial Art from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.F.A. from the University of New Mexico.
