During his lifetime, Proctor was recognized as the country’s foremost creator of monuments on western themes, and his work can be found in many major American cities, including New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Portland.

Born 1895 Died 1943 in an accident at a military base. Garrison visited CO and became a guide at Estes Park. He was a student of Luzon Borglum. He has many works in the Denver area and in NYC. He was a member of the Cactus Club of Denver.
